A Violin Richard Tobin, London, ca. 1820 (for Lockey Hill)

A nice classical English violin by Richard Tobin, made for Lockey Hill, London, ca. 1820.
This 'petite' violin (sometimes also referred to as 'Lady's size' ) would be perfect if you are looking for a very comfortable playing instrument.
The back measures 350mm, the stop length 192mm and the string length is 327mm.
The full and warm sound belies the smaller dimensions of this classical Tobin violin.
As often seen with Tobin instruments this has a one piece front, the beautiful figured one piece maple back also typical of Tobin and Lockey Hill instruments. Price: please enquire
